When creating our gift guides, we quickly realised there was no one better to curate them than those within our circle, the Friends of Daphne’s. The customers, creatives and business owners who have supported us along the way. A celebration of shared taste, thoughtful gifting, and the wonderful community we feel endlessly grateful to have built.
Our third gift guide, has been curated by Lauren Steel. Before moving to Newcastle, Lauren and her beautiful store, House of Lita, had already captured my attention. I followed along from afar, admiring all that she created. When we eventually relocated and I finally stepped inside the store and met Lauren in person, it was everything I hoped it would be and more. The space was beautiful, but it was Lauren herself who left the greatest impression. Warm, generous and instantly welcoming.
Since then, Lauren has transitioned into interior design, launching Studio Lott, where her eye for detail and effortless sense of style now shine through in truly beautiful spaces across Newcastle.
Lauren was one of the very first customers to support Daphne’s at launch, and over the past twelve months she has remained a constant source of encouragement and kindness. From sharing our brand on social media to offering generous supplier introductions, her support has been unwavering, for which I am endlessly grateful.
