A solid brass pepper mill, hand-cast and finished by Alexander Mills in a family workshop in Thessaloniki, Greece, running since 1977. Brass develops a natural patina over time, part of the charm of a piece made to last.
The three-part cast grinding mechanism draws the spice down, grinds it coarse, then fine. Built for pepper and dry spices only, not salt, which would damage the mechanism. The word Pepper is subtly engraved on the mill, and the handle ships inside it.

Care: brass slowly oxidises and patinas with touch and air. To keep it bright, polish the outside with a soft cloth and metal polish, and keep the contents dry.
