The Ceramic Cup in Red is made from a red clay sourced from Japan layered with a green glaze made from locally sourced wood ash. These pieces have red flashing which leaves deep red marks on the side of each piece.

Remy Pajaczkowski-Russell is a potter working on Gadigal land, where he makes functional ceramic pieces from found Australian materials. After completing his studies at The National Art School, Remy went on to do an apprenticeship in La Borne, France. It was here that he developed his passion for wood fired domestic ware, slip decoration and the production of functional objects for ceremony, celebration and reflection.
