Higurashi Snips

Drop-forged carbon steel snips for delicate pruning, cut flowers, house plants, bonsai and other precise work. Slender blades move in and out of tight spots without disturbing what's around them.

Niwaki design each tool in collaboration with skilled Japanese craftspeople, drawing on techniques refined over generations. Built in Japan to exacting standards, made to be used well and kept for a long time.

• Crafted from S55C carbon steel
• Made in Sanjo, Japan
• Measures 150 x 70 x 15mm with 40mm blades, max cut Ø3mm
• Do not cut wire, metal, stone or plastic. After use, clean with a Clean Mate eraser and water, dry thoroughly, then apply a light coat of Cameillia Oil
• Sharpen with the #1000 Sharpening Stone
