A beautifully soft, handwoven shoulder bag crafted from durable elephant grass and finished with smooth leather straps and top closure. This timeless piece is made by skilled artisans near the village of Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana, where elephant grass grows along the fertile flood plains of the White Volta River.

Designed for everyday ease, the leather handles are long enough to sit comfortably on your shoulder, while the simple leather clasp keeps your belongings secure.

Elephant grass is a 100% sustainable natural fibre. Once harvested, it’s dried, dyed by boiling, then carefully split and rolled to enhance its strength and flexibility, perfect for weaving lasting pieces.
