The Long Handle Basket Bag is a soft woven shoulder bag with leather straps & top closure. Handwoven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanda in Northern Ghana. Featuring a leather handle long enough to sit comfortable on your shoulder and a leather clasp for closure.
The elephant grass is a 100% sustainable natural material. It is harvested, dried and finally boiled to dye. The weavers split each length into two then roll it to give it more strength.
