A traditional Japanese flower-arranging tool, the Kenzan (or “flower frog”) has become a favourite among both Ikebana artists and modern florists alike. This set of four mini Kenzan invites you to slow down and create with intention, doing away with floral foam entirely.
Each brass pin is strong enough to hold woody branches yet delicate enough for soft greenery and grass stems. Handcrafted in Japan, each set includes two round and two square Kenzan, beautifully suited to shallow bowls and dishes.
To use, simply press your flower stems onto the pins to hold them in place, then rest the Kenzan in a vessel filled with water to extend your blooms’ life.
