The Wide Brim Bolga Hat is hand-woven from elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanda in Northern Ghana. Featuring a hand-woven leather strap & an extra wide brim. This hat is perfect for days in the garden, at the beach.
The elephant grass is a 100% sustainable natural material. It is harvested, dried and finally boiled to dye. The weavers split each length into two then roll it to give it more strength.
